Haryana CM’s Good Governance Associates program receives good response

Haryana Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates (CMGGAs) program has received tremendous response across the country as applications from premium institutes like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), top medical colleges and universities have been received to work under this program. The program will commence on July 1, 2016.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that state government has introduced the CMGGAs program under which 21 high-caliber individuals would be posted for a year in all the 21 districts of Haryana, representing the Chief Minister’s office (CMO).

He said that applications from 21 States have so far been received and around 2300 registrations have been done. More than 200 completed applications have been submitted out of which about 16 per cent applications have been submitted by the female candidates. He said that about 50 per cent of the applicants have either worked or lived in Haryana.

The spokesman said that undergraduates with minimum one year of work experience or post-graduates holding diploma or degree were eligible to apply for the program. In addition, an applicant should not be more than 30 years of age as on April 15, 2016. Applicants are required to register at www.cmgga.in and submit the online application form available on the portal before 23:59hrs on April 15, 2016. This is a full-time paid position during which the fellows would be based out of district headquarters and would be required to travel across the district as required.

The spokesperson said that Ashoka University, Sonepat is a knowledge partner to the Chief Minister’s office for the program. The University would facilitate the process of recruitment, training, mentoring and monitoring the work of the Associates, he added.
